9 October 2012 | NYC | *We Continue To Pray Daily*

The Marble Collegiate Church located at 5th Avenue & West 29th Street in New York City started hanging these ribbons on the fence to represent their prayers for the thousands of U.S. service people who have lost their lives in Iraq and Afghanistan and for their families and friends. Blue ribbons represent the prayers for the tens of thousands of Iraqis and Afghanis who have lost their lives, for their families and friends, and for all who have been wounded. „Every Sunday during Worship we pray by name for each soldier lost that week and add their ribbons to the fence afterwards. We continue to pray daily. We pray for the wounded. We pray for the day that war is no longer an option. All are invited to join us.“
